College will get you everywhere you need to be in life. Whether it is just to have a stable home, or if you want to save lives, college is a good idea. I want to get into a good college, hopefully a private college, and to do that I need to be a very driven person. Qualities that I have that will help me get into college are good study skills, I like to read, and I take pride in my work.
Good study skills are essential to succeeding in college. To keep up with the homework load you have to know how to manage your time wisely. If you keep up with your work, college will be easier. I always get my homework in on time, and that is because I have good study skills.
College is a lot of reading. You are constantly reading out of your text book, so liking to read is a good quality to have. Reading is what most of your homework is. I love to read. If I have spare time, you will most likely find me reading. I have never read a book that I haven’t liked, and I think it is because I just love reading in general.
Taking pride in your work will help you get good grades in college. Getting good grades will help you to not fail, so you don’t have to take that credit over again, so it won’t take longer to graduate. I do not settle for second rate if I know that I can do better than what I’ve done. If I know that I can do better then I will take the time to fix it and make it better.
To succeed in college, having these qualities is a must. Succeeding in college leads to better quality of living, because you can get a better job. I think everyone should have the opportunity to a better life, and college is one way to have a better life.

ReplyDeleteYou did a very good job stating why you should study hard in school. So what college do you want to go to? Maybe an Ivy League? If this were my paper I would state what college I want to go to, and my plan on how to get there.
ReplyDeleteIf this were my paper I would use a bigger variety of words, like when you were talking about reading, a lot of your sentences kind of started the same way.
